Khata Transfer
Overview
Khata Transfer is the process of updating the BBMP/GBA property ownership record from the previous owner's name to yours. It is mandatory after every property sale, inheritance, or gift deed. Without completing the Khata transfer, you cannot pay property tax in your name, apply for building plan sanctions, or get a home loan against the property. Delays can also create legal complications if you try to resell. Vault's team handles document verification, GBA portal submission, ward office follow-up, and final certificate collection completely end-to-end, with no office visits required.
