A Family Tree Certificate (also called Vanshavali Certificate or Legal Heir Certificate) is an official document that establishes the family lineage and legal heirs of a deceased person, issued through the Nadakacheri Portal. In Karnataka, it is issued by the Revenue Department or Tahsildar and is essential for transferring inherited property, claiming death benefits, settling succession disputes, and applying for government schemes.
